Restorative Approaches is pleased to offer a three day facilitator training course in restorative practice and will be held in person, bringing together the opportunity for skills sharing, networking and expertise of colleagues in an experiential setting.
The course is suitable for all those interested in developing their skills and knowledge in this field.

Nonviolent Communication offers much to support both Restorative practice and Restorative Justice facilitation. This is a certificated foundation course in Nonviolent Communication specifically tailored to support people already trained in Restorative Practice.

This approved course is an intensive and comprehensive immersion in the ethos and practice skills used to apply a restorative lens to the task of relationship repair, the addressing of harm and the growth of community. This Restorative Practice Facilitation Skills course is unique, in that it incorporates tuition in enhanced practitioner skills using a unique method of engagement, enabling greater inclusion of parties in the process. Prior knowledge of restorative practice is not a pre-requisite for undertaking this course.

Training and certification in holding Restorative Conferences at Level 2 in all settings, covering all aspects of facilitation from looking at the restorative markers, introductions, risk assessment, preparation of all parties, the conversation, outcomes.
April 19th to 21st

This course, with a specific focus on education settings, will give you a clear understanding of the context for the restorative approach and equip you with the skills to build a healthy community within your setting so that relationships are valued, conflict is reduced and learning capacity is enhanced.

A 2 day online training offering practical skills in delivery of Complex and Sensitive cases.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich RA conference 2023, delivered in partnership with the University of Greenwich, will create a reflective space for practitioners and students to consider the intricacies and impact of power in restorative practice.
The in-person event will include contributions from academics, individuals with lived experience and practitioners from the field and will support participants to understand how to recognise and manage the power dynamics at play in restorative processes.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Level 5 programme consists of two modules and was designed to develop practitioners with both theoretical and practical excellence. Module 1 is focused on Theory and Implementation and will support practitioners to:
-Develop a sound theoretical knowledge and understanding of restorative approaches
-Consider successful strategies for implementing and sustaining restorative practice in their work settings/roles.
